strolling

Things I'm grateful for:

  • Strolls with Dad and baby.
  • All of the flowers that are popping up at the edges of the sidewalk.
  • Sunny afternoons and long, lazy evenings.
  • Crockpot recipes and coffee to go.
  • Friday mornings with the weekend to look forward to.
  • The look on my little one's face as he discovers new things.
  • A big tilled garden with lots of dirt, and lots of seeds to plant.
  • The start of a new quilt. I have my first quilt block complete for my "Single Girl" quilt by Denyse Schmidt. I love it! Especially the little owl print. Love their little owl feet.

Happy Friday, everyone!

xo Jill

P.S. Joining Amanda for Finish it up Friday - this Single Girl quilt block was a long time coming. I'm glad I'm finally started.

  1. Love everything about this post. So nice seeing that bright fresh green spring grwoth on the trees, we are currently experiencing thunder storms and strong winds, so the last few autumn leaves are pretty much washed and blown off all the trees. Have a fabulous weekend.

  2. Your sons hat is cute. Sock yarn? Are you making a wedding ring quilt. Sewing on the curb....talent!

nice owls on the quilt. Like there funny ears!
And nice to imagine to sit at the place under the tree at the photo (with a coffee to go ;o) and watch you and logan pass away...
The weekend is gone now. Just to fast. Missing a free day between Saturday and Sunday.
